For me, fencing for children is like chess on the feet. I teach everyone not just to move with the epee quickly or logically. I teach everyone not just to move with the épée quickly or logically, but also to learn to solve any problems and make quick decisions creatively.

FAQ
What equipment do I need to start fencing?
We provide all the fencing equipment for a beginner’s first term, and subsequently, for hygiene reasons, we kindly ask you to purchase your gear. Please wear thick tracksuit bottoms and indoor sports shoes to attend our classes. A bottle of water is also useful.
What shoes are suitable for fencing?
Any indoor squash, volleyball, handball, or tennis shoes are perfect for fencing. Please make sure you only wear them indoors.
What type of fencing do you teach?
At Amateur recreation fencing, we only teach Épée fencing. We can arrange for a foil or saber coach to give you or your child a private lesson. Please, contact us by email to arrange it.
